If you turn off the internet, unplug its cablevision or all the same, its a whole lot faster.

Call up an upgrade install here is near 30 minutes.  A fresh install is 15.

I'one thousand on a Windows 7 notebook.  I clicked a message that said 'Windows ten is ready to install.'  It gave me an option windows where I just clicked 'Next.'  Now it has this window with the circling dot blitheness ... for more thirty minutes!  I suspect it'due south not doing anything but I'm afraid I would be interrupting the process if I shut the window.  What should I do?

Go to windows updates.  You should find the update for windows 10 in that location.  If information technology is there it will on take a short while to download and start the installation phase.  You tin besides burn this download to a bare DVD for subsequently installation.

Could be worse. Installing Windows 10 on my tablet has taken over 24 hours! Information technology but takes SO long to restart!

I started the upgrade to Windows ten on Friday Nov 20th. Information technology error ed out after 24 hours. I disabled my virus protection and firewall.. Sabbatum forenoon I finally saw some progress and read a message on my monitor. Windows 10 installation in progress with a condition at 0%..  which remained at 0%  from Saturday morn to Mon morning time @ 4am.. Out of frustration I rebooted my pc.. and went to work leaving a blackness screen. I will meet what progress has been made when I get habitation at 3:xxx this afternoon.

It takes nigh two hours. Ane hour to download and one hour to install. Have upgraded iii P.c.'s and had no problems. Make sure zip is running in the background. Your PC will reboot several times in the installation.  A third installs during each reboot.

I take been waiting for near a week.  I have two T drives and a 500 G hard drive, simply seven days????
